Although it may seem like it when you leave school, the world does not begin and end with higher education. Thanks to initiatives like the RBS Apprenticeship scheme, not going to university can now be every bit as rewarding as choosing to pursue a degree.
Here at RBS, we have big ambitions for our apprentices. After all, it’s the new ideas, fresh thinking and customer focus you bring to your role – along with the technical expertise you’ll gain – that will build our bank in the months and years ahead. So throughout your apprenticeship and beyond, we’ll give you the support you need to reach your potential in an environment that will stretch you from day one. In short, we’ll make sure you have the tools you need to build a brighter future at a bank that never stops evolving.
If you’re aged 16 or over, and you’re keen to take your first step on the career ladder, please take some time to explore this section and learn more about RBS Apprenticeships.
What’s in it for you?
As an RBS Apprentice you will enjoy a whole host of benefits. For a start, you’ll earn a competitive salary as you learn through on-the-job training. And you’ll also have plenty of support from your buddy as you study towards a professional qualification through a structured online learning and development programme which you can manage in your own time. Formal networking opportunities will allow you to meet colleagues from across the business and, with our team innovation challenges and soft skill training, you’ll be given everything you need to succeed in your role. All in all, it’s a fantastic alternative to university and a unique opportunity to become part of a diverse, challenging and exciting organisation.
N.B. The RBS Apprenticeship is an entry-level programme, so priority is given to candidates who do not have a higher education qualification. If you are educated to degree level or have the equivalent work experience, you might want to apply for one of our graduate vacancies or an experienced hire position instead.
